I did a total of three consultations for my Invisalign treatment and decided to go with Charleston Orthodontics. I am on week 12 and can not only see the difference, but I feel so much more comfortable, as well. Dr. Patel also will ensure your treatment plan is high quality and right for you, which I appreciated! I’d highly recommend coming here for your orthodontic needs. I included a picture from around week 9/10 of my treatment.
Yesterday (2-25-25) was my first time going to Charleston orthodontics the staff team was very friendly I went there for my Invisalign they explain everything to me I'm glad I went to them the prices are affordable they also have a payment plan also.
I love the staff and Dr. Patel! Since I began Invisalign treatment with them 2 years ago they have been nothing but exceptional. They are always so welcoming, friendly, and their best interest is always with their patients. They are very prompt and on time — I’ve never waited in the front seating area for more than 5 minutes past my appointment time. This was important to me as I usually always had to get back to work after my appointment. With that being said, I’ve always hated my teeth and they helped me take the steps to achieve a smile I love and am not ashamed of. How does Invisalign treatment work?
Think of it as a clear, comfortable way to guide your teeth into place without the look of metal braces. We use the iTero™ scanner to create a 3D map of your smile, so you don’t have to deal with messy putty impressions. This map helps us plan out your custom series of clear aligners that gently nudge your teeth into their happy places.
How much will my new smile cost?
The cost usually depends on how much work your smile needs and how long your treatment lasts. We’ll sit down together to look at your insurance and find a payment plan that fits your life and your budget.
Does wearing aligners hurt?
You might feel a little "hug" of pressure on your teeth when you start a new set of aligners, which is just a sign they're working. Because Invisalign clear aligners are made from special SmartTrack material, most of our patients find them much more comfortable than traditional metal braces.
How long does the journey take?
Every smile is unique, just like you. While some journeys are shorter, most people finish their treatment in about 12 to 18 months. We’ll be right there with you the whole way to make sure everything is moving just right.
