Invisalign Lite works in the same way as our Invisalign Full product but is for cases of shorter duration. The treatment is designed for less complex cases resulting in a shorter treatment time while still providing the esthetic and efficient benefits of the Invisalign system.
Who is it for?
Invisalign Lite is ideal for patients who have mild to moderate orthodontic needs such as overcrowding, small gaps, and overall alignment issues. It may also be recommended for patients who previously had orthodontic treatment as a child and had some tooth movement from lack of retainer wear. Invisalign Lite is for specific cases that fall into the 7-9 month treatment time range. For any case 6 months or less the patient would qualify for Invisalign Express and for any patient who needs 10 months or greater they would qualify for Invisalign Full.
How it works
Invisalign aligners straighten your teeth by applying gradual pressure on specific teeth at different times during your treatment. Individually manufactured for your teeth by Invisalign, they are worn in two week increments. As you replace each aligner with the next set your teeth will move gradually until full correction is achieved. We usually give patients enough aligners to last 10-12 weeks so they are normally coming back about once every 2 to 3 months so time missed from work or other activities is minimized.
